We love All-Star history & stats here at All-Star Gazing, so in the run up the 2023 GAA PwC All-Star selections on the 17th November, we are taking a look at the All-Star roll of honour from 1971 to 2022, county by county.

In this post we take a look at Donegal’s All-Star record. Led by Karl Lacey who was selected 4 times, the county has 35 All-Star awards achieved by 22 players. Michael Murphy and Neil McGee have both been selected 3 times. The McHugh family, dad Martin and his two sons Mark and Ryan, share a special record with The Brogans from Dublin, as two sons have followed their father in becoming All-Stars.

Brian McEniff was the first Donegal man to become an All-Star when he was selected on the 2nd All-Star team in 1972.
