A virtual launch was hosted by PwC in Croke Park shortly before the official book launch on November 11th 2021. Authors Moira Dunne and Eileen Dunne, daughters of ALl-Star founder and GAA journalist Mick Dunne, were joined by the 1st ever All-Star hurler Damian Martin, 5-time All-Star winner Pat Hartigan, and two football All-Stars from different generations – Jack O’Shea and Brian Fenton.

Michael Lyster interviewed the girls about how the book came about and how they tackled the huge task of compiling the definitive history of the All-Stars. Moira revealed how she found their father’s treasure trove of All-Star material quite by chance while Eileen recalled some of the lovely meetings they had with All-Stars around the country.

GAA president Larry MacCarthy gives his initial reaction to the book while commending the sisters for their achievement.
